Human DNA/Cell Line Fingerprinting
This service is ideal for researchers and groups who wish to perform identity verification of human samples or cell lines. We perform forensic-style autosomal STR typing, including the 13 CODIS DNA markers. The inquiring party is responsible for the location and use of a reference data set in order to confirm identity. Sample scores (allelic values), and electropherogram trace data will be communicated to client for any further applications and analysis.

Sample Prep-
We will receive genomic DNA** in water or low TE at a concentration of 5ng/uL and request that you inform us of which they are diluted in. Samples should be in clearly labeled tubes, well closed upon receipt. We can also accept samples in a 96well plate sealed with film or foil. An electronic sample list or grid is also requested to ensure consistency of sample name and info. We request sample volume of at least 10uL per sample. (Sample volume can be discussed further on a case by case basis.)

*The Identifiler Kit includes 15 autosomal STR loci, including the 13 CODIS markers and Amelogenin.
