We utilize the UAGC for all of our research in the College of Pharmacy Clinical Research Laboratory. We perform high-throughput human studies on cystic fibrosis and heart failure. The UAGC plays an important role in our research; once the samples are delivered to the UAGC we have full confidence they are handled with care and our results are accurate. We have published several key novel findings thanks to collaboration with the UAGC.

The UAGC has been genotyping about a dozen of my genetically engineered mouse strains for me during the past 5 years. Because of the high throughput nature of its protocols, it is far less expensive than having my lab do the genotyping. This also frees up my technical staff for other research work.
